We officially started selling our granola on October 1, 2008 at a tiny local farmer's market in Lincoln, Nebraska. Little did we know those few bags would turn into what it is today.
After a few short weeks of success at the farmer's market we started to take this whole thing a lot more seriously. (Okay, maybe just a little more!) The website was launched and that same month we were licensed as a local food business.
Before we knew it, we were selling our granola in locally owned stores. That same year we decided to add to the Guru Family and our third granola flavor was born. She too would find her way to local stores.
Throughout 2009 we learned how we wanted to do business and how to improve our product by involving our customers (the grooviest people in the world!) We expanded into more locally owned stores and considered new products that would highlight our message.
We are currently working towards our second year in the granola biz and we are more sure than ever what we stand for and how we want to create change in the world with the help of our customers. And we continue to create bridges within the local business community, farmers and friends.
Summer 2010 marks a big step for us with our expanded line with natural snacks for our furry friends and even funky tie-dye clothing for you and your family (and maybe even the family pet!)
We continue to be the most proud of where we started and want to do the most good there. Locally that is.
